Ready meal and Food Package program
Hunger was labeled as “The Greatest Solvable Problem of the World,” because no scientific study is needed or advances are needed. Even though we live in a rich nation, too many men and women throughout the world are struggling to feed their children every day.
According to the World Food Programme (WFP), more children die each year as a result of under nutrition than malaria, AIDS and tuberculosis combined. A staggering 45% of all deaths among children under 5 are caused by malnutrition.
In the case of an emergency, Humanitarian Assistance Society distributes healthy food packets, and we also equip communities with the resources they need to sustain themselves year after year.
What’s included in the food package?
Each package of foods comprises a variety of basic products designed to satisfy a family of six eating needs during the whole month. Throughout Afghanistan, our employees distribute food security every day to the most needy.

Iftar For poor
Ramadan month, filled with bliss and abundant blessings, presents us with an opportunity to maximize our good deeds. One of such acts which all Muslims are encouraged to perform in excess is kindness and charity. Every year, the Humanitarian Assistance Society organizes Iftar for the less privileged in our communities. Every year, we centered our activities on orphans and widows, two highly marginalized and forgotten demographics in our communities. Each year we are serving more than a thousand such persons. With your support, our plan of providing Iftar for multitudes of less privileged persons in our community will be a reality.
